Resume

The article analyzes the trends of the forest industry development in the regions of Ukraine. As a result of the analysis, the main problems were identified, features of the forest industry were identified, perspectives of further development of the industry were substantiated. The factors, which have the most influence on the effective development of the forestry complex, are described, the main reasons that hinder the efficient functioning of this sphere of economy are determined. The main directions of development of the forestry complex of the regions of the country are offered.
