| 29.09.2025. International Scientific Conference "Sustainable Development in Management: Science-Business-Self-Government" On September 29, 2025, the 14th International Scientific Conference "Sustainable Development in Management: Science-Business-Self-Government" was held online, organized by: the Faculty of Management of the Częstochowa Polytechnic, the Institute of Finance and Accounting of the Chorzów Branch of WSB Merito University in Poznań, the University of Rzeszów, the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and the Lesia Ukrainka Volyn National University. The purpose of the conference was to discuss and exchange views on the development of knowledge in the field of management, management of business organizations and local governments in the context of the concept of sustainable development. More than 50 scientists from Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Germany, Georgia, Malaysia and Bahrain took part in the conference. The conference included 3 sectional meetings: - Management in the service of sustainable development.
- Sustainable development management in times of crisis.
- Innovative ecosystems for the development of regions and communities.

| 2025, June 06. Lviv, Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Elections of the Director The Election Commission reports that on June 20, 2025, the elections for the Director of the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine were held. According to the results of a secret ballot of full-time scientific staff, Dr.Sci. of Economics, Professor Taras H. Vasyltsiv, who received more than half of the votes of the voters, was elected Director of the Institute.

| 11-13.06.2025, Lviv City Council. III Lviv Urban Forum On June 11-13, 2025, the Lviv Urban Forum took place - one of the most important urban events of the year in Ukraine. The organizers of the event: NGO "Ukrainian Urban Platform" and the Department of Architecture and Spatial Development of the Lviv City Council. This year's forum brought together in Lviv the creators of the most ambitious urban transformations in Europe - from the authors of the concept of aspern Die Seestadt Wiens (the largest modern urban district built "from scratch" in Vienna) to the architects of the European Council Headquarters building in Brussels. Among the speakers is also one of the co-authors of the idea of the "15-minute city", which today transforms the idea of the rhythm and scale of urban life. The discussions focus on bold ideas, systemic approaches, the implementation of sustainable solutions and a long-term vision of urban development. A separate focus was placed on the potential of the Lviv agglomeration - as a space where challenges and opportunities for growth, integration and cooperation between the city and surrounding communities intersect. The forum was attended by Senior Researcher of the Spatial Development Department, Ph.D. of Economics, Senior Researcher Solomiya Tkach, which was a continuation of the Institute's analytical work in the field of spatial development, urban sustainability and agglomeration development, as well as an opportunity for professional dialogue with Ukrainian and international experts who are shaping the vision of the city of the future. | 12.06.2025, Institute of Management of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Poland). V International Conference "Economic and Social Consequences of Crises" On June 12, 2025, the V International Conference "Economic and Social Consequences of Crises" was held, organized by the Institute of Management, Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland. The conference was attended by more than 100 scientists from China, the USA, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine, Albania, Georgia, Lithuania, Slovakia. Discussion and exchange of views took place within the framework of the plenary and 22 thematic sessions in an online format. The presented scientific studies concerned the impact of crisis phenomena on the functioning of countries, business structures, e-commerce and courier services markets, construction and energy sectors, banking, agricultural markets, labor markets, automotive industry, logistics, etc. The conference was attended by scientists from the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine: Senior Researcher of the Department of Spatial Development, Ph.D. of Economics, Associate Professor Olha Zhabynets, who delivered a report "Environmental Financing: Regional Trends in the Pre-war and War Periods" and Junior Researcher of the Department of Regional Environmental Policy and Environmental Management, Ph.D. of Economics Yuliya Bashynska – with a report "Differences in the Lives of Urban and Rural Residents: Ecological Aspect". International Conference "Solidarity, cohesion, and social support in the international context" On May 29-30, 2025, University of Oradea (Romania) in partnership with leading research and educational institutions of Europe organized and held the International Conference "Solidarity, cohesion, and social support in the international context". | 2025, May 15-16, Olsztyn (Poland). IX Ukrainian-Polish Scientific Forum "Responsible Global Leadership of the European Union: Challenges and Opportunities" On May 15-16, 2025, the IX Ukrainian-Polish Scientific Forum “Responsible Global Leadership of the European Union: Challenges and Opportunities” was held in Olsztyn. The organizers of the event – the Institute of Political Science of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Republic of Poland) and the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” (Ukraine) envisaged the following thematic areas of work: - The European Union as a responsible global leader: opportunities and limitations in the context of modern crises and challenges;
- The role of the EU in ensuring international security: political, military and social aspects;
- European solidarity and humanitarian aid: EU responses to humanitarian crises caused by conflicts and climate change;
- Scientific diplomacy as a tool of EU global leadership: cooperation in the field of innovation and education;
- The European Union facing the challenges of environmental protection and climate change: strategic directions of global actions;
- Human rights and democracy in EU actions: countering violations in war and conflict;
- Strategic partnership between Poland and Ukraine in the context of European integration: potential for political, economic and cultural cooperation;
- Prospects for post-war reconstruction of Ukraine: the role of the EU and international partners.
The Forum was attended by scientists from: 24 scientific and educational institutions of Ukraine; 21 – from the Republic of Poland; 1 – from the Republic of Albania. Within the framework of the IX Forum, a round table and discussion on the topic “Polish and Ukrainian societies in the face of war” was held, where leading experts discussed current geopolitical challenges and opportunities for cooperation on the basis of solidarity and responsible leadership. Participants of the discussion – Jan Peklo, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine (2016-2019) delivered a report “Ukrainian-American relations – an attempt at a summary”; Ph.D. of Political Science, Associate Professor Yevhen Magda, National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” – with a report “The Great War as a Challenge for Cooperation between Poland and Ukraine: Challenges and Solutions”. The discussion was attended by Dr.Sci. of Economics, Professor, Leading Researcher of the Department of Regional Economic Policy of the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Anatoliy Mokiy, who focused on the need to complete the formation of the Ukrainian National Idea (UNI). The basic principles of such an idea were proposed in 2015-2017 by the Institute’s researcher Prof. Stepan Vovkanych. In addition, A. Mokiy focused on the problem of “hidden protectionism” carried out by neighboring EU member states. As part of the panel “The Future of Ukraine and Europe: Reconstruction, Humanitarian Aid, European Integration” A. Mokiy, Dr.Sci. of Economics, Professor, Leading Researcher of the Department of Regional Economic Policy, and Ph.D. of Economics, Associate Professor Halyna Bubley, a candidate of the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine delivered a report "Transformation of the European Integration Model of Ukraine in the Global Environment". The authors revealed the essence of the concept of "global environment" and substantiated the rational feasibility of the model of structural integration of Ukraine with the European Union in the conditions of a polysystem crisis caused by the war with Moscovia. The results of the Forum, analytical conclusions, proposals and recommendations expressed by the participants in 99 speeches at five panel sessions, will be reflected in a collective scientific monograph and the scientific journal "Copernicus Political and Legal Studies".

International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative Strategies and Challenges of Modern Marketing in the Conditions of Global Technological Changes and Digitalization of Economic Processes" (on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Department of Marketing and commemoration of the memory of its founder, Prof. S. V. Skybinsky) On April 10, 2025, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative Strategies and Challenges of Modern Marketing in the Conditions of Global Technological Changes and Digitalization of Economic Processes" (on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Department of Marketing and commemoration of the memory of its founder, Prof. S. V. Skybinsky) was held at the Lviv University of Trade and Economics with the participation of representatives of leading higher education institutions from Ukraine, Poland, Moldova and other countries. The event was co-organized by the All-Ukrainian Central Union of Consumer Societies, the NGO "Ukrainian Association of Marketing", the Cooperative Trade University of Moldova, the Humanitarian and Economic Academy in Lodz, the Higher School of Entrepreneurship and Administration in Lublin, the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, the Poltava University of Economics and Trade, the Khmelnytskyi Cooperative Trade and Economic Institute. More than 80 participants took part in the plenary sessions of the conference. Discussions took place in six sectional meetings, where the issues of developing new marketing technologies in the context of global challenges were considered; accounting, analytical, informational and legal support of marketing processes; financial and economic aspects of decision-making in marketing; the role of marketing in international business development strategies; problems of developing industrial, agricultural, trade, hotel and restaurant, and tourism businesses in the context of globalization and digitalization; the role of information and communication technologies and artificial intelligence in increasing the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

IX International Scientific Conference "Prospects for the Development of Entrepreneurship from a Global Perspective" On April 9, 2025, the IX International Scientific Conference "Prospects for the Development of Entrepreneurship from a Global Perspective" was held online on the Teams platform, organized by the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz (Poland) together with the Aegean University (Turkey), the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of NAS of Ukraine, the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, the Intellectual Space NGO (Ukraine) and the International Strategic Management Association ISMA (Greece). The purpose of the conference was to discuss: modern challenges related to entrepreneurship and innovation; topical issues of business environment development at the international, national and local levels, as well as establishing cooperation between international research groups, integrating academic and business communities. The main attention was focused on: various forms of entrepreneurship development, taking into account both global perspectives and national and local contexts; analysis of the business ecosystem; identification of factors that promote or hinder innovation; assessment of the dynamics of entrepreneurial processes in the international context. In total, more than 70 scientists took part in the conference (in particular, from Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, Greece, the Czech Republic, Portugal). Conference program is here

The conference was organized by: Institute of Economics and Finance of the University of Rzeszów (Poland), Faculty of Management of the Warsaw University of Technology (Poland), Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of NAS of Ukraine" (Ukraine), Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine), Faculty of Management of the Częstochowa Polytechnic (Poland), Institute of Finance and Accounting of the WSB Merito University in Poznań (Poland), Faculty of Management and Entrepreneurship of the University of Prešov (Slovakia), Faculty of Economics of the University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic), Western University of Timisoara (Romania). The conference was held within the framework of three thematic areas/discussion panels: 1. Enterprise and region - economic, social, technological and environmental challenges and their consequences. 2. Enterprise and region in the context of the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and global threats. 3 Enterprise and region - anti-crisis management and business management in conditions of uncertainty. The conference was attended by more than 70 scientists from 9 countries (Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Lithuania, USA, Pakistan). International Forum "Sustainability and Development: Public Governance and Innovation", Dnister Hotel (Lviv, Ukraine) On March 5, 2025, the International Forum "Sustainability and Development: Public Governance and Innovation" was held, organized by the Business Innovation Center "Tech Startup School", the Department of Administrative and Financial Management, the Institute of Governance, Public Administration and Professional Development, the Science Park of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" and with the support of the National Platform "Three Seas Initiative – Ukraine" and the Association of Small Towns of Ukraine. The purpose of the Forum was to exchange experience in the field of sustainable development, restoration and reconstruction, the development of innovations and public governance, as well as attract investments and create a network of partnerships between Poland and Ukraine. It was attended by more than 100 representatives of local governments, businesses, experts, scientists, public organizations, and youth from Ukraine and Poland. The forum consisted of four panel discussions: “Energy Sustainability of Communities”, “University of the Future as a Geopolitical Challenge of Ukraine”, “Decentralization 2025 – Transparency and Open Data in Public Administration” and “International Cooperation Ukraine – Poland”. The forum was attended by Senior Research Fellow of the Spatial Development Department of the M. I.
