Resume

The article analyzes the innovative potential of Ukraine. The dynamics and structure of the components of its innovative potential based on the Global Innovation Index rankings are considered and evaluated. The position of Ukraine in the rating of innovation development of European countries in the context of the European innovation scoreboard and the Global Competitiveness Index is evaluated. Problems are outlined and the mechanism of stimulation of Ukraine’s economy innovation development is proposed.
