Journal "Socio-economic problems of the modern period of Ukraine" was founded in 1996 under the title "Socio-economic research in transition period" and was re-registered in 2007 under the present title. The founders of the Journal:
The journal is recognized as a scientific professional publication of Ukraine of category B by orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 886 dated July 2, 2020 (specialties - 051, 071, 072, 073, 075, 076, 232, 241, 242, 281, 292) and No. 1188 dated September 24, 2020 (specialties - 052, 256), in which the results of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences in Economics may be published.
