Resume

The newest manifestations of the influence of macro-factors on the functioning of the national and regional labor markets are determined; the features of the mentioned influence are revealed through application of PEST analysis, in the context of political, economic, social, technological factors. A new vision of links and relationships within the framework of functioning of national and regional labor markets through the analysis of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, is proposed. The economic aspect of the influence of the macro environment on the labor market has been supplemented by the disclosure of the phenomenon of repression of the Ukrainian economy. The social and technological aspects of the influence of the macro environment on the Ukrainian labor market through the prism of the formation of the middle class in Ukraine are considered. It is proved that the assessment of the impact of each aspect of the macro environment or their combined action is a necessary step in choosing a strategy for the behavior of the labor force and the employer in the labor market.
