The Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of NAS of Ukraine develops international cooperation through participation in consortia and grant projects, implementation of joint research and analytical work, as well as organization of international events and academic mobility. All formats of interaction are implemented in compliance with the principles of equality, non-discrimination and inclusiveness, as well as ethical standards of research and sensitivity to social and spatial contexts.
Interaction with partners is built on the basis of transparent procedures, clear division of roles and orientation towards applied results, taking into account gender balance, diversity of research approaches and involvement of different groups of stakeholders. This approach provides a reliable institutional framework for long-term partnership, joint research and sustainable development of international initiatives.
Below are three basic formats of cooperation open to international partners.
1. Partnership in consortia and grant projects
The format involves the Institute's participation as a partner, expert executor or leader of individual components in international projects (Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Visegrad Fund, other programs).
Cooperation includes:
- joint development of the project idea;
- definition of roles, tasks and expected results;
- preparation and implementation of project applications;
- participation in the implementation, analytical support and dissemination of results.
2. Joint research, analytics and expertise
The format is focused on applied research, analytical products and expert support, in particular:
- analytical reports and policy briefs;
- evaluation of policies and programs;
- methodological support;
- joint scientific publications.
Interaction is built around a clearly defined goal, expected result and practical use of developments.
3. International events and academic mobility
The Institute is open to:
- co-organization of conferences, round tables, workshops, panel discussions, etc.;
- participation in international expert events;
- short-term visits, internships and research missions (incoming / outgoing).
The format of cooperation involves agreeing on the goals, program, participants of the event or visit and expected results, including further joint activities.
How to start cooperation
To initiate a partnership, a short application is sufficient, containing:
- a description of the idea or project initiative;
- format of cooperation (consortium, joint research, international event, mobility);
- contact person for communication.
Coordination of international cooperation, projects and mobility is carried out by:
