On June 5-7, 2019 in Sports and recreation camp "Gart" of Lesya Ukrayinka Eastern European National University was held IV International Scientific-Practical Conference "Territorial Development and Regional Policy: Current State and Guidelines for Further Reforms" . The main organizer of the conference was already traditionally acted Dolishniy Institute of Regional Reseach of NAS of Ukraine", the main co-organizer was acted Lesya Ukrayinka East-European National University in Lutsk.

On May 7-9, 2019 in Oradea (Romania) International roundtable debate “Cross-Border Cooperation in EU Member States: Theoretical Studies and Best Practices” was held that was organized in the framework of the project “Boosting Local Economic Growth in Border Regions in the Process of EU Integration: Best Practices of Eastern Partnership (EaP) Countries” (№599948-EPP-1-2018-1-UA-EPPJMO-SUPPA) under the Jean Monnet program, which is coordinated by the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of NAS of Ukraine.
The event welcomed over fifty experts in the sphere of cross-border cooperation from five European countries (Ukraine, Romania, Poland, Hungary and Moldova). Dr of Economics, Prof. Iryna Storonyanska, the deputy director for scientific research of the Institute delivered the welcoming remarks. The Institute was also represented by Khrystyna Prytula – the Head of the Sector of Cross-Border Cooperation, who addressed the major aspects of the Project, and Yaroslava Kalat – Junior Researcher of the Sector of Cross-Border Cooperation. On 2019, May 14-17 in the cities Lodz (in Polish Łódź) and Lviv, within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Science Festival, the IV International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists "Prospects for the Development of Entrepreneurship in an International Context" was held. The main organizers of the conference were: the Faculty of Management of Lodz University and Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. From the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of NAS of Ukraine in the scientific and organizational committee of the conference were involved: Doctor of Economics, Prof. Iryna Storonyanska, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Svitlana Ishchuk, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Maryana Melnyk, Ph.D., Senior Researcher Volodymyr Demchenko, Ph.D., Researcher Olha Mulska, Junior Researcher Iryna Myshchyshyn.

On December 06, 2018 in the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of NAS of Ukraine held the International scientific conference "Problems of development of financial-credit and insurance area of the region: experience of Poland, Ukraine and Belarus".
The organizers of the conference were Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Lviv) and Krakow University of Economics, conference partners - NGO "Institute of Regional Studies", Belarusian State Economic University" (Minsk), Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University.

On November 20, 2018, within the framework of the International Congress "Scientific potential of the Western region of Ukraine in the context of international cooperation: the current state and prospects of development", devoted to the 100th anniversary of the creation of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of NAS of Ukraine held the International Round Table "Problems and Prospects for Sustainable Development of Ukrainian Regions in the Context of European Integration Processes".
The purpose of the round table was to present and discuss the results of research carried out by scholars of the academic institutions of Kyiv, Lviv and Uzhgorod in the framework of the implementation of the Target Program of Scientific Research of the Economics Department of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine "The Trajectory of Sustainable Development of Ukraine until 2030". Four scientists from the Institute for the Development of Village and Agriculture of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw) took part in the work of round table.

On October 25-27, 2018, at the Lviv Polytechnic National University the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Marketing and Logistics in the Management System" was held. The organizers of the conference were: the Department of Marketing and Logistics of the Institute of Economics and Management of Lviv Polytechnic together with the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of NAS of Ukraine, Maria Curie-Sklodowska University (Lublin, Poland) and Cracow University of Economics (Krakow, Poland) . About 120 scientists from more than 40 Ukrainian and 8 Polish higher education institutions came to Lviv to share their experiences.

On 2018, September 20-22 in Katowice of Poland at the Technical University in Katowice International Scientific Conference "Information society: the state and directions of development, taking into account regional conditions" was held. The organizers of the conference were: Rzeszow University (Department of Quantitative Methods and Business Informatics), Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Department of Economic Cybernetics) and Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine» (Department of Development of Industrial Sphere of the Region and Investment). The conference gathered a wide range of scientific participants from both the Polish and Ukrainian sides. Representatives from the Institute at the conference were Head of the Department of Development of Industrial Sphere of the Region and Investment, Doctor of Economics, Professor Svitlana Ishchuk and Senior Researcher of this Department, Ph.D. Lyubomyr Sozansky.

On 2018, June 11-13 in Krasnobród of Poland in Center of Training and Recreation "Energetic" International seminar "XXIII Workshop of Economists-Agrarians" was held within the framework of the cooperation between the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development Polish Academy of Sciences and the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Reseach of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine", in which two young doctoral postgraduates from the Dolishniy Institute of Regional Reseach NAS of Ukraine Ph.D. Iryna Hrynchyshyn and Ph.D. Maryana Bil took part.
